Just found out how to activate wireless on Packard Bell netbooks.
Open a terminal and type:
$ sudo apt-get install linux-backports-modules-jaunty
Enter your password
Wait
Press Y for install and press enter
After install reboot
Back to your desktop
Search for your wireless network enter your settings
Don't forget to turn wireless on, switch on the front
