i have a problem with the moonOS 3 desktop effects. When I'm surfing through the menu(applications, favorite applications and so on) the menu disappears and leaves only shadows. The whole desktop reacts to nothing, even when the effects are switched off.

I have to switch the computer off and restart to get a new (unfortunately only short working) desktop.


I like moonOS very much and it would be a pity to change to another distro because of such a problem.

PS. I think my computer should have enough power (4 GB RAM, 2x 2,53 GHz)for E17.

I maybe described my problem a little bit incomprehensible. It is the desktop itself that makes the problem. Even when all effect are switched off (via mooncontrol): after using the navigation panels (left mouse button) the desktop soon starts to freeze, the navigation panels disappear and only their shadows keep remaining (the panels are completely transparent but you can see their position because of their shadows). Then I can't activate anything with the cursor. I hope I have made my problem more clear.

Try delete your .e folder in your home then restart.
